On March 8th, 2006 - from midnight to 3am - Red76 brought together a group of artists for "How to Create a Cultural District and Have it Disapear in to the Morning Mists." Temporary public projects were scattered throughout a 5 block radius from the intersection of 2nd and Franklin, a produce district in Oakland near Jack London Square. I installed "Dial-A-Story" in a pay-phone booth at 3rd and Franklin. Quarters were distributed to visitors for use at the pay phone.
